Grayson announces qualifying dates for November election
Grayson officials approved an ordinance Monday setting qualifying dates for the next city election. The offices of mayor and city council posts 2 and 4 will be decided Nov. 3.
Qualifying will begin at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 31 and end at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 2 at City Hall, 475 Grayson Parkway.
Mayor Allison Wilkerson and council members Trent Arnold and Linda Jenkins currently hold the two-year term positions. Laura Paul-Cone was named election superintendent and Libbie Smith will serve as election poll manager.
