Volunteers needed for Park Pride and Generation Green at Constitution Lakes
Park Pride is a nonprofit that works with communities all over the City of Atlanta and DeKalb County to help them improve their parks. Volunteers are invited to join Park Pride, Generation Green of the Georgia Conservancy, and the Friends of Constitution Lakes on Saturday, August 22nd at Constitution Lakes in DeKalb County to lend a hand on a three hour park project. Located SE of Atlanta, Constitution Lakes is a destination park with unique hiking opportunities around wetlands of the South River. For this project, volunteers construct a new hiking trail to connect the parking lot to a boardwalk that wraps around the park’s lakes.

The organization, National Center for the Prevention of Home Improvement Fraud, helps seniors, disaster victims, the physically impaired, those who speak English as a second language, low wealth communities and women.
