If you like dogs and the outdoors, there’s an event right up your alley in Lilburn this weekend.

The city of Lilburn, the Gwinnett Humane Society and Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation are partnering to hold “Hike with Your Hound.” Dogs and their owners are welcome to hike a 3.2-mile trail on Lilburn’s Camp Creek Greenway on Nov. 3.

When your hike is completed, you can get a stamp at Lions Club Park that will qualify you for a “special gift.” There will be vendors and other outdoor activities for people and dogs at the park as well.

The event is free, but participants must register with the code LSP41611 here. The event starts at 9 a.m. and lasts until 1 p.m., and is centered at the Camp Creek Greenway access point at 76 Main Street.
