Garden tour blooming in Cobb

Folks with green thumbs can enjoy this year's "Through the Garden Gate" tour on May 12 in Cobb County.

The tour will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through seven private gardens and projects of Master Gardener Volunteers of Cobb County. Tickets are $10 in advance and can be purchased at the Cobb Extension Office or for $15 on the day of the tour at any of the gardens.

The day will also include a Garden Party and Plant Sale, at Chestnut Ridge Christian Church, 2663 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. No ticket is required.
