Highlands Pediatrics will administer free school health screenings to Forsyth County students on two dates this month, the Forsyth School District announced.
The screenings are scheduled for noon to 4 p.m., July 18, at Chestatee Elementary School, 6945 Keith Bridge Road, Gainesville; and the same hours July 19 at the Hill Educational Center (also the student registration site), 136 Almon C. Hill Drive (former 136 Elm St.), Cumming.
The sceenings will cover all that’s required for Georgia Form 3300, the form required for school enrollment, including vision, hearing, dental and nutrition, the district said.
Forsyth has a centralized registration process and does not register students at individual schools, officials said. Parents of students new to the district must make an appointment to register at: https://bit.ly/2utQzyh. The site has information about pre-registration and required documents.
Information also is available by calling: 678-947-0863 ext. 0.
Children currently enrolled in Forsyth schools do not need to re-register.
