Cobb County Emergency Management Agency is providing several ways to be better prepared for emergencies during September, which is National Preparedness Month.
Free Community Emergency Response Team classes will be held in three areas to teach basic disaster preparation and response skills necessary in case of a community emergency when the arrival of professional responders may be delayed.
