Free Cobb training to help with emergency readiness

Cobb County Emergency Management Agency is providing several ways to be better prepared for emergencies during September, which is National Preparedness Month.
Free Community Emergency Response Team classes will be held in three areas to teach basic disaster preparation and response skills necessary in case of a community emergency when the arrival of professional responders may be delayed.
- East Cobb County: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 9, 16 and 23. The Catholic Church of St. Ann, 4905 Roswell Road, Marietta. Register: Linda Walsh at 770-552-6400 ext. 6019 or LwalshRN@st-ann.org.
