Alpharetta won't elect a new mayor this year, but it will have new members on its city council.

To help voters decide who to vote for, candidates for the Post 2 race will participate in a forum.

The Alpharetta Business Association is presenting the forum on Wednesday, Oct. 25, from 7 to 8:15 p.m. in the council chambers at Alpharetta City Hall.

Ben Burnett and Ben Easterling are the two candidates competing for the seat, currently held by Mike Kennedy, who is not seeking re-election.

The forum is open to the public.

Election Day in Alpharetta is set for Nov. 7.
