East Point implementing water, sewer upgrades

The East Point Water and Sewer Department has begun making upgrades to the city’s water main infrastructure for Pegg Road. These upgrades are being implemented at this location to bring the area in compliance with the City of East Point’s proactive 2-inch and 4-inch water main. Work began on Monday and is expected to wrap up Friday unless inclement weather conditions prohibit completion.
