The Duluth City Council voted Dec. 14 to revise the city’s Unified Development Code in order to better coordinate with the Comprehensive Plan and Downtown Master Plan as they relate to the Central Business District.

The changes are specific to architectural and parking standards in the district.

Community Development Director Nick Colonna, noted in his request for the change, that as redevelopment projects have been taking shape, there is a need to strengthen this section of the code to further meet the intent of the projects that are and will be underway.
