The Duluth City Council recently approved a $2,000 annual contract with the Georgia Municipal Association for HR Express Service. GMA presently offers training and policy development services designed to help local governments keep abreast of and stay in compliance with numerous human resources laws and regulations that impact the city.
The addition of HR Express Service will provide staff with monthly webinars on human resources topics relevant to Georgia cities with sample policies or best practices guides, quarterly e-newsletters covering human resources topics and an annual one-day human resources training seminar, free to members.
