Drink up and listen in East Atlanta

East Atlanta is having its "beer fest" this Saturday in East Atlanta Village and Brownwood Park. There will be samples of 170 craft beers and, of course, organizers encourage visiting taverns, shops and cafes. They're billing Burt & The Bandits, a show band with a country flavor; The Imperial OPA, which might be called a circus band complete with belly dancers, contortionists, storytellers and puppets; and Animal & the Evolvers, an Old Fourth Ward band said to defy definition.  1 p.m.- 6p.m. Tickets at www.eastatlantabeerfest.com
