Participants in DeKalb County’s Workforce Development program recently volunteered with a literacy program for Africa.
Members helped sort and pack donated books for the Books For Africa mission, which helps boost literacy across the continent. The program was part of an emphasis on volunteer work for Workforce participants, who are being trained and coached to find permanent work.
