Due to expected rain, the city of Roswell has postponed a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new electric vehicle charging stations until 2 pm. April 23 at Roswell City Hall, 38 Hill St. It had been set for Wednesday.

Two of the double-pedestal stations have been installed at City Hall, with four charging connectors available there. The others are at Roswell Area Park, 10495 Woodstock Road, and East Roswell Park, 9000 Fouts Road, with two connectors available at each. The ceremony will feature the first official charging of an EV vehicle.

Usage rates are $1 per hour for the first four hours, and $20 per hour after that.
