The Peachtree Corners City Council gave their final nod of approval Tuesday for plans for the city’s new Town Center to be built on 20.6 acres of undeveloped land on Peachtree Parkway across from The Forum. The mixed-use development will feature retail, restaurants, office space, townhomes and a two-acre Town Green.
“We’re excited about the final plans,” said Mayor Mike Mason. “It’s going to be a terrific gathering space for the community that we hope will serve the community for years to come.”
The council also unanimously approved plans for a 25-lot residential townhome subdivision on 4.33 acres at 5555 Spalding Drive on the former site of an office building destroyed by fire in 2011. The development was named Duke Reserve in recognition of Paul Duke, considered the city’s founder.
