A corner park will be developed at the intersection of Powers Ferry Road and Windy Ridge Parkway on Cobb County right-of-way.
This agreement with Broadstone Windy Ridge, LLC was approved by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners on Dec. 11.
If needed, Broadstone also agrees to give no more than $100,000 towards the future cost of installing a traffic signal on Windy Ridge Parkway.
In June 2015, the Cobb commissioners approved a request from Lynwood Development Group LLC, with stipulations, to rezone property in the vicinity of this southwest intersection of Powers Ferry Road and Windy Ridge Parkway.
Then in June 2018, the commissioners approved a request from Broadstone for a stipulation and site plan amendment regarding rezoning application Z-27 of 2015 for that same location.
