A man was arrested for following a 14-year-old girl home from the Brookhaven MARTA station Saturday night, police said.
According to the Brookhaven Police Department, the victim reported that Carlos Pacheco-Navas, 32, had followed her from the train station "making inappropriate advances." He then allegedly grabbed the girl and pulled her shirt, and she escaped by kicking him in the leg and running away.
Pacheco-Navas was found in a nearby parking lot and detained. He is currently in the DeKalb County Jail, according to police. He is charged with child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes and simple battery.
