April 26, 2012

Prompted by the Trayvon Martin shooting, the Cobb County United for Change Coalition, will hold a town hall meeting on May 2 at 7 p.m. at the BTT FunSupport center, 5055 Austell Road in Austell.

Organizers said aside from Martin, the meeting will also focus on "compelling issues that plague our communities," including racial profiling and Stand Your Ground laws.

The meeting is sponsored by the Cobb Immigration Alliance, New Order, the Cobb County of Nation of Islam, and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
