Cobb superintendent to speak at Civic Association meeting

The superintendent of Cobb County Schools will discuss his vision for the school system at the upcoming meeting of the East Cobb Civic Association.

Superintendent Michael Hinojosa will speak at 7 p.m. on Sept. 28. He is substituting for an official with the Livable Communities Coalition who was scheduled to discuss the  transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax that is on the ballot next summer.

Location: East Cobb Government Center, 4400 Lower Roswell Rd., Marietta.
