A Marietta man was sentenced to 15 years in prison on two sets of drugs charges, one of which was filed when he was out on bond for the other.

Larry Latrelle Price, 38, pleaded guilty Tuesday and was sentenced by Cobb Superior Court Judge Reuben Green to the prison time and 15 more years of probation, according to the Cobb County District Attorney's Office.

Marietta police were searching his Brook Circle home July 2, 2015, and found multiple drugs, scales and a gun inside. Also, five grams of "cocaine were discovered hidden in his genital area," the district's office said.

While out on bond for those charges, Price was pulled over and arrested in January 2016 for speeding on North Marietta Parkway.

When pulled over, he got out of his vehicle and ran from the officers but was quickly nabbed. Police found about 19 grams of "cocaine hidden in his groin area," the office said.

"Larry Price has been possessing and distributing drugs in Cobb County for nearly 20 years," said prosecutor Courtney Veal. "He is a repeat offender and it is time to ensure that he is off the streets and no longer able to deal drugs in our community."

Price's history of drug possession and distribution charges in Cobb dates back to 1996.
