The Junior League of Cobb-Marietta ended its 2011-2012 year last week with its annual meeting and awards presentations.
During the year, 151 League members volunteered more than 10,000 hours with Cobb community organizations and programs including Cobb Diaper Day and the Kids in the Kitchen program.
The League also announced its community partners for the upcoming year, who will share $22,000 in grant money. The eight recipients included the Center for Children and Young Adults, Cobb County Safety Village, SafePath and the YWCA.
