Continuation of penny sales tax for education projects for the Cobb County School District will be discussed at three community meetings this month.
All times will be 6 p.m. at these locations:
- Tuesday: Smyrna Elementary School, 1099 Fleming St., Smyrna
- Wednesday: Lovinggood Middle School, 3825 Luther Ward Road, Powder Springs
- Thursday: Walton High School, 1590 Bill Murdock Road, Marietta
If approved by Cobb County voters next year, Ed-SPLOST V will be continued from 2019 through 2023 and can be used only for technology, school construction or building repairs and renovations.
