The Cobb Board of Commissioners has delayed a vote until March 17 on a senior living facility in east Cobb. The planning commission will hear the request March 3.
The planning board first considered the Isakson Living zoning request in August 2013. The controversial project proposes 498 units on 54 acres next to East Cobb Park on Roswell Road. The Concerned Citizens of East Cobb group said the land is too valuable as the last green space in east Cobb and the group objects to a large-scale commercial project.
