Cobb County's republican party will hold a July 4 barbecue from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Jim Miller Park. Elected officials and candidates for the 2012 election will be in attendance. The barbecue will also feature music, guest speakers and a silent auction. Admission is $15 for adults and $5 for children. Prepaid admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
