Police are searching for passengers in a pickup truck accused of shooting at cars with a paintball gun in East Cobb over the last several days.

A few of the cars splattered with paint were those of off-duty officers, Channel 2 Action News reports.

Cobb County police and a group of landscapers, who were recently hit while working on the side of the road, described the truck as a black Ram. Roswell police are also looking for the truck.

Those landscapers were working on Lower Roswell Road near Johnson Ferry when the pickup came by, shot at them and kept driving toward Roswell.

One of the workers, Frank Bryant, had a theory about who is to blame.

“(A) bunch of juvenile delinquents (who) got nothing better to do than terrorize hard-working men,” he told Channel 2. “... That’s a pretty dangerous thing to do when it could cause serious harm or bodily injury to somebody or cause a wreck.”

His coworker who was also there when the truck came by wasn’t too worried: “I’m from New York, it’s nothing new.”
