Middle and high school-aged youth representing a school or community youth group are invited to the Cobb Alcohol Taskforce’s annual Youth Council Summit set for Saturday in Marietta.
The summit will include leadership training highlighting ways youth can motivate adults to prevent underage and youth binge drinking. Participants will also plan a community service project to take place in spring 2012.
The summit runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mt. Zion UMC, 1770 Johnson Ferry Road, in Marietta.
