The Cobb Adult Education Center is one of four programs or schools in Georgia selected to participate in a national career-awareness pilot, designed to help adult students better prepare for the workforce. Beginning spring quarter, students will earn a high school equivalency diploma and create a career portfolio. The center will host a career fair April 27 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Oakwood Digital Academy media center, 1560 Joyner Avenue in Marietta.
