City to present updated flood maps

Sandy Springs will hold two public presentations to review new flood risk maps. The maps include flood insurance rate maps used to help establish flood insurance premiums.

The presentations, to be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Dec. 7, will show the extent to which parcels are at risk for flooding, taking into account changes in topography, land use and drainage patterns.

The meetings are at Sandy Springs City Hall Council Chambers, 7840 Roswell Road, Building 500.
