Johns Creek is conducting a streetlight outage inventory, and it wants residents to report any of the city's more than 4,500 streetlights that may be on the blink. The city will alert the power companies of malfunctioning or burnt out streetlights so the utility company can repair them.

“We’re paying the utility companies for this electricity anyway, whether the lights are working or not,” said Public Works Director Tom Black.
