The city of Atlanta Office of Atlanta Information Management recently announced the creation of the Chief Information Officer Advisory Board. Members will bring knowledge from both private and public sectors to continue propelling the city forward within the technology sector, according to a press release.

The Atlanta Chief Information Officer Advisory Board will work with the city of Atlanta Information Management team to advance the technology strategy of the city. The advisory team will analyze challenges facing cities in a wide range of content areas to explore how our communities can be more digitally connected and improve the quality of life for residents.

The members of the advisory board will provide forethought, innovative practices, community buy-in and investment opportunities amongst fellow strategic partners. This board of leaders will help influence the city of Atlanta’s innovation agenda and city-wide adoption of technology development and implementation through consultation.

The Atlanta Chief Information Officer Advisory Board will hold its first meeting in May.
