The Cherokee County School District has again been named one of the top 10 large school systems nationwide for its effective use of technology in education.

The honor results from an annual Digital School Districts Survey conducted by the Center for Digital Education and the National School Boards Association. The survey covers several areas including how mobile devices are injected into the curriculum, technology leadership and transparency in district policies and meetings, data management and strategic planning.

It’s the 11th time the district has made the top list since 2004.
