Students, parents and the community can now call up a new Cherokee County School District website designed to be easier to navigate and friendly to mobile devices, the school district announced.
News, announcements and recognitions will appear on the site's home page: cherokeek12.net
Students and parents can access the MyPaymentsPlus cafeteria meal payment system, enrollment and “first day” forms and student handbooks. There also are links for district employees, job seekers and social media.
The district’s Technology and Public Information divisions worked together to produce a site that allows updates at no additional cost to the district, officials said. Each school has its own website as well, with a staff member designated as its webmaster.
