Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services is asking the public to tell it how well it's doing. It's posted online a Community Stakeholder Survey that it says "is designed to provide an annual baseline of how well the fire department is performing in the eyes of the citizens on specific points of service delivery."

The survey also asks residents’ opinions of the importance of programs and initiatives currently in place. The department says it will use survey results to inform upcoming strategic planning, as it seeks accreditation through the Center of Public Safety Excellence on Fire Accreditation International.

The survey is available "to anyone who visits, works or lives in Cherokee County" until April 30 at www.cherokeecountyfire.org. Click on the "We Need Your Help" box, on the right side of the page, to be taken to the survey.
