The Chamblee City Council will hold a public hearing during the work session at 6 p.m. Thursday at Chamblee City Hall, 5468 Peachtree Road. The public hearing is for the first reading of amendments to the city ordinance regarding front yard setback requirements and to review a variance application for the property located at 3908 Captain Drive.
The council will also discuss consideration of a resolution requesting authorization to increase the city’s hotel and motel tax rate. The city will consider asking DeKalb County for approval to raise the tax from five to eight percent.
