Hampton entrepreneur Chris Moore will be sworn in as the town’s new mayor next month. Moore, owner of Moore’s Art Studio, was elected in a special-called election on March 19 to fill the vacancy left by the death of Mayor R.W. Coley in October. Moore will be sworn in during the council’s 6 p.m. work session on April 2 at City Hall, 17 E. Main St. in Hampton.
