The city of Brookhaven Council in a special called meeting Monday voted to defer consideration and approval of ordinances allowing Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Executive Park to annex into Brookhaven city limits.
“We want to continue the process of making sure the annexation request is thoroughly vetted before making a final decision,” said Mayor J. Max Davis.
This vote comes after two reads of each ordinance and public hearings.
Both ordinances will appear on the agenda of the regular council meeting 7 p.m. Dec. 2 at City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road.
