Broken crane creates delays, congestion on I-285 in Cobb

An eastbound ramp of I-285 near I-75 in Cobb County has reopened after a broken crane blocked traffic and caused significant delays during rush hour Monday, said Georgia Department of Transportation spokeswoman  Annalysce Baker.

Contractors working on the Northwest Corridor express lanes project removed the crane around 5:15 p.m., Baker said.

No other details were available.
