The bid for construction of Fire Station No. 15 in Hampton was awarded to Headley Construction Corp. of Newnan by the Henry County Board of Commissioners at its May 3 regular meeting.
A budget amendment was approved during the same meeting to allow the transfer of $440,000 from the 911 Radio Replacement SPLOST IV account to the Fire Station No. 15 SPLOST IV account. Out of five vendor submissions, Headley Construction Corp. presented the lowest bid in the amount of $2,140,000. All funds are available in SPLOST IV accounts.
