The Austell City Council agreed 6-0 Monday to hire Latimer and Hughes Construction Co. of Villa Rica to build the new restroom, in compliance with the American Disabilities Act, at Legion Field, 5514 Austell-Powder Springs Road.
Latimer and Hughes had the lowest bid at $48,238.
To help pay for this project, the city will receive $40,000 from Cobb County in Community Development Block Grant funds from the federal government.
