The Atlanta Workforce Development Agency’s headquarters located at 818 Pollard Blvd will be closed Nov. 9 through , Nov.13.
The closure is for construction and renovation, staff training and administrative compliance work as required by the State Department of Economic Development’s Workforce Division. The agency will resume normal operating business hours at 8 a.m. Nov. 16.
“By organizing and consolidating all of the necessary infrastructure and administrative work to take place during the same week that includes Veterans Day, a holiday, we will minimize the disruption of our critical services to the public so that we can continue serving Atlanta’s job seekers and businesses with an exceptional level of service delivery,” said Michael T. Sterling, executive director of the agency.
