VSP Vision Care and the Georgia Optometric Association this week will spend three-days giving Atlanta Public Schools students eyecare services at no cost. VSP will bring its 45-foot mobile eye clinic to Whitefoord Elementary, Coan Middle and Crim High, where local eye doctors will provide free eye exams and eyewear to low-income students pre-selected by the schools. Dr. Tom Spetalnick, president of the association, said increased use of technology in the classroom means it is important students have clear vision. Information: www.atlanta.k12.ga.us
