Atlanta will open two warming centers at 8 p.m. Friday as chilly weather moves in overnight, the city announced in a news release.

At 2 p.m., temperatures in Atlanta were 54 degrees with winds at 20 mph, according to Channel 2 Action News. Temperatures are expected to be in the 30s by Saturday morning.

One warming center is located at the Old Adamsville Recreation Center at 3404 Delmar Lane NW. The other is located at Central Park Recreation Center at 400 Merritts Ave. NE.

Both will remain open until Saturday morning.

Transportation to the warming centers will be provided from Gateway Center located at 275 Pryor St SW.
