Atlanta mayor, Georgia superintendent tout show on NBC

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Georgia Superintendent Erroll B. Davis, Jr., and David Kimmell, president of the Georgia Aquarium, will join Atlanta students Friday morning at the aquarium to tout new NBC News education programming.

The programming, "Education Nation Atlanta," will cover a series of events, including a teacher town hall on Sunday and an event focusing on skills and workforce issues with Gov. Nathan Deal, Reed, state business and civic leaders. A bus, "Education Nation Express," will travel throughout the region to bring attention to different educational approaches.
