The Atlanta Department of City Planning dedicated the crosswalk at Broad and Poplar Streets on Thursday, Oct. 25.

The design was painted by local artist Niki Zarrabi, and is uniquely comprised of layered patterns, organic shapes and structural line work that represents Atlanta’s architectural connection to nature, according to a press release. This project, in partnership with Central Atlanta Progress/Atlanta Downtown Improvement District and Flatiron City, is part of an ongoing, community-focused initiative to bring unique artwork to public spaces.
