As many businesses are closed, residents are staying home and traffic is light due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Alpharetta posted progress reports to Facebook for street and sidewalk projects around the city.

More sidewalk sections are being completed, landscaping is being installed and much of the lighting is in along Rucker Road; and "things are taking shape" to add a lane to westbound Windward Parkway from Ga. 400 to Deerfield Parkway, a joint project with the North Fulton Community Improvement District (information: https://bit.ly/34keEsA).

A sidewalk extension is nearing completion on the south side of Morrison Parkway from Hembree to Haynes Bridge roads; improvements are being made to the pedestrian crossing at Canton and Old Canton streets downtown; a northern extension of the Big Creek Greenway is underway along Windward Parkway (https://bit.ly/2RAVABg); and grading and storm drainage work has begun for the Kimball Bridge Road project (https://bit.ly/34G4rqx).
