The Alpharetta City Council has approved, with conditions, a request to rezone 3.26 acres to allow the construction of 22 for-sale single-family detached homes on the east side of Haynes Bridge Road at Tiffany Square Drive.

The land identified for “Tiffany Square” was developed in 1985 with 12 townhouse units, according to a staff memo to the council. The developer requested a rezoning from R-12 (dwelling, “for sale” residential) to DT-R (Downtown Residential).

The proposed homes would have 2,200 to 2,600 square feet of living space and be constructed of brick, stucco, stone and cement-based siding or a combination of the materials, according to the applicant, Southeast Real Estate Acquisitions.

Community Development staff recommended 23 conditions, including a 39-foot height limit, certain minimum setbacks and buffers, and architecture, streetscapes and other exterior features subject to staff approval.
