The Alpharetta City Council has approved a $156,345 contract to hire a surveyor for the city’s 2016 Parks and Transportation Bond Sidewalk Improvement program.
LandAir Surveying Co. submitted the winning proposal to do the work necessary to prepare construction plans. The city plans to plug 26 sidewalk gaps totaling roughly 17,400 square feet.
The surveys will be conducted in batches. Surveys will be delivered to the city starting Aug. 19 and ending Jan. 13.
The streets to be surveyed include Alderman Drive, Cotton Creek Entry, Edison Drive, Harris Road, Hembree Road, Little Pine Trail, Mansell Court, Market Place, Marstrow Drive, Morrison Parkway, Nobel Court, North Point Parkway, Old Roswell Road, Pointe Place, Spruell Circle, Upper Hembree Road, Warsaw Road, Waters Ferry Way, Windward Concourse and Windward Plaza.
