The Acworth Board of Aldermen approved Thursday expenditures of $273,216.
The city will pay $165,000 for a U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Wetland Mitigation Permit.
Also, the city will purchase an excavator for $44,970 from Vermeer of Marietta.
LED lighting fixtures of $30,246 will be bought from Anixter Power Solutions for overhead lighting along South Main Street from Cowan Road to Nance Road.
An additional $33,000 will cover possible price changes or variations in shipping charges.
