For the fifth straight year, the annual Crabapple Festival is returning to Milton.
The outdoor arts festival will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It is hosted along Crabapple Road with road closures between the Crabapple Crossroads intersection – Birmingham Highway and Broadwell Road – and Itaska Walk. The festival will feature more than 100 antique and art vendors, musicians, food vendors and activities for kids.
And of course – because it’s a Saturday in SEC country – there will be a jumbo screen nearby for college football viewing.
The festival is put on by the City of Milton, the Crabapple Community Association, and several sponsors.
Parking is available at Crabapple Baptist Church, Crabapple Crossing Elementary School and Milton High School. Parking is prohibited along the streets in surrounding neighborhoods. Handicap parking is available at the Alpharetta Government Center on the corner of Broadwell Road and Crabapple Road.
A free shuttle service will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., running from Milton High School to Crabapple Baptist to the drop-off location at the Alpharetta Government Center.
