Taking the Big Leap into marriage? Gwinnett County can help you do it on Leap Day.
Couples who want to marry on Monday Feb. 29 can do it from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville. Chief Magistrate Kristina Hammer Blum and Probate Court Judge Christopher Ballar will perform the ceremonies.
Couples must obtain a valid marriage license form Gwinnett County Probate Court before the ceremony and bring the original license with them. For information on obtaining a license, contact Probate Court at 770-822-8250.
The marriage ceremonies are free and no appointment is necessary. But couples with existing reservations will be married first. For more information, visit www.gwinnettcounty.com.
