A bill that would let local communities vote whether to allow sales of alcohol in stores on Sunday has been delayed in the Georgia House.
The House Rules Committee on Monday considered a presentation of Senate Bill 10 but did not approve it for a floor vote Tuesday. It remains before the committee but is expected to soon reach a vote by the full chamber.
If the House approves the measure, Gov. Nathan Deal has indicated he will sign it into law.
